Pikachu amigurumi, English free pattern

This Pikachu amigurumi is the first of my Pokemon amigurumis.
I loved Pokemon when I was a child, and I like them now, too, but now they’re too much and I can’t recognize all of them. I’m fond of the first generation, even if I think they’re all super-cute.

Pikachu amigurumi, Pokemon amigurumi

The idea for this Pikachu amigurumi came from this blog.
This girl wants to create all the 151 Pokemon amigurumi of the first generation, and I think this is really amazing. So when I saw the blog, I wanted to crochet Pokemon, too.

Pikachu was an easy choice.
I always loved this Pokemon, and I really like working with yellow yarn, so I began, and now you have a free pattern for Pikachu!

The shape of Pikachu changed a lot in the years, and now it’s thinner, but I used a picture of Pikachu of the 1998, because I like him better.
